Why are you considering supporting ClickHouse?
Our brand promise, Database Ops Your Way, is partially predicated on supporting the open-source databases teams need to implement modern workloads at scale but either can’t or otherwise don’t want to manage from end-to-end — analytic workloads are essential and complex at scale and ClickHouse is unparalleled in its capabilities.
How will you decide to support ClickHouse?
Simple, we will include ClickHouse in our roadmap if there is a clear signal from our current and prospective user base of the supported workloads and demonstrable demand for its management across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Will you support ClickHouse in CCX?
The short answer is yes, we will eventually expose it in all CCX implementation options, i.e. Cloud, Sovereign, and for Service Providers, if we offer it in ClusterControl.
