UX/UI Designer

We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to help us continuously improve our products for our community users and customers, as well as develop materials that help communicate our messages.

UX/UI Designer

You will work on the next generation of our cloud service NinesControl and on-premise product ClusterControl, which is the leading management system for open source databases and used by thousands of companies world-wide.

You will help with the design of new, innovative features that enable our users gain full insight and quickly resolve issues with their on-premise database and cloud infrastructures.


  • Work closely with our Designer, Product Manager and developers when working on new product features
  • You will take responsibility for all the design solutions assigned to you that need to be implemented in future versions of our products according to their roadmap
  • You will be responsible for keeping our products consistent according to our design system
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our design system in order to keep a consistent experience
  • Understanding our users and prepare solutions according to their needs
  • Iterate on solutions based on user feedback
  • Improving our products on a daily basis with a user-centric approach
  • You will be responsible for keeping track of all of your designs from beginning of the process until feature release
  • You will be responsible for delivering detailed interactive prototypes in order for our developers to have a clear picture of every new solution / feature that needs to be developed
  • Part of your responsibilities will also be to help our Marketing team with needed marketing materials

Professional requirements

  • 3+ years experience in UI / UX design
  • Strong understanding of the user experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development processes
  • Solid experience designing websites, web apps, mobile etc.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
  • Ability to handle the whole User experience design process - from initial UX research, prototypes to Hi-Fi deliverables and Hi-Fi Interactive Prototypes
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
  • Experience with design for marketing materials, illustrations and social media materials

Technologies that you should be proficient with

  • You’re comfortable using Sketch and emerging tools in visual design ( Figma etc. )
  • You’re comfortable preparing prototypes on paper or in the emerging tools like Uxpin, Invision, Framer
  • Experience in using After Effects is a plus
