Go Developer

We are looking for talented developers to help us continuously improve our products for our community users and customers. You are a senior developer with a passion for creating cloud based services delivering great quality features with TDD.

You will work on the backend services for our Backup Ninja service and our on-premise product ClusterControl which is the leading monitoring and management application for open source databases and used by thousands of companies.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Excellent programming skills in Go or other functional programming languages. C/C++ experience is a plus.
• Experience in building and deploying production quality containerized services with a service mesh based architecture.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and optimize network throughput, latency and memory utilization issues
• Experience in working with RPC frameworks such as gRPC and developing RESTful APIs with TLS.
• Comfortable working independently with remote agile teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Strong Linux background and knowledge. Windows is a plus.
• Experience writing queries for relational databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL preferred), distributed document stores (Elastic, Couchbase) and/or MongoDB a plus
