Percona Live London MySQL Conference - 11-12th November, 2013
We’re particularly excited about this year’s Percona Live London MySQL Conference. The line-up of speakers & topics looks excellent and it’s good to see speakers from Oracle, Percona, the MariaDB Foundation (amongst others) scheduled at the same event. It demonstrates not just the diversity of the ever broadening MySQL ecosystem, but also the fact that there really is room for everyone to contribute, participate in and advance MySQL in manifold directions while still retaining a certain amount of uniformity.
And this is how we will be contributing to the event ...
Talk - MySQL Cluster Performance Tuning
By Johan Andersson, CTO & Co-Founder, Severalnines
Correct tuning of MySQL NDB Cluster can have dramatic impact on performance. As a distributed shared-nothing system, it is quite sensitive to tuning of communication buffers, or correct partitioning of the schema.
In this session, we will look at different tuning aspects of MySQL Cluster.
We will look closely at the new parameters and status variables of MySQL Cluster 7.3 to determine issues.
We’re planning to do live demos of our cluster management tool ClusterControl.
Setting up and maintaining a database cluster can be tricky. ClusterControl gives you the power to deploy, manage, monitor and scale entire clusters efficiently and reliably. ClusterControl supports a variety of SQL and NoSQL cluster topologies, as well as SQL load balancing via HAProxy.
Check out our online configurators in advance of the event, we support a whole list of clusters now: MySQL Galera Cluster, Percona XtraDB Cluster, MariaDB Cluster, MySQL Cluster, MySQL Replication and MongoDB Sharded Cluster, MongoDB Replica Set.
This event is probably the best place to be for MySQL enthusiasts in Europe, so check out the program and the exciting speakers line up: https://www.percona.com/live/london-2013/program
